We utilize the field stones that have been removed from the Alberta Prairies by generations of family farmers, and turn them into the finest exterior or interior rock veneer available.
We consider fieldstones to be the jewel of the prairies. It may seem that these stones would be of little or no value but at Origin we take this forgotten natural resource and transform it into a beautiful timeless facade. Many veneer stones today are man made precast or imported from other countries. Through manufacturing and or transportation, these all create a large carbon footprint. At Origin we utilize the very resource at our feet. Every stone is hand selected, then brought back to the farm where it is cut, washed, packaged and ready for delivery.
By using the stone that the receding glaciers have left behind, we offer home builders the opportunity to have a small piece of Canadian legacy installed on their homes forever.
